the experiment?
well i've just heard about this french people who are trying to recreate a micro big bang just to know of what are we made of .... the chances of get a possitive result are 25% and create a blackhole and end with earth's life are 75%
so guy's what do you think about this .... if the experimento goes wrong what would you do we'll have only four years before the blackhole swallows all if i am not wrong in 4 years will be 2012 mmm the same year that the mayas
predicted the "end of the world" mmm coincidence ?

Re: the experiment?
I've never taken any "End of the World" or "Rapture" theories seriously, it's all mumbo jumbo in my book.
In regards to this miniature big bang experiment, as long as they have a decent understanding of what they are trying to create, I say they should go for it, and let destiny go with it's flow.

Re: the experiment?
If they fail they won't create a black hole. They'll only blow up a laboratory, maybe more. But I don't believe that we can create black holes at random like that, when in the universe it takes the death of a star to create them.
Unless they are screwing with our sun, obviously. But then I'd like to see them touch the sun in any way, without getting liquefied because of its heat and the photon winds.

Re: the experiment?
Yeah.... there's no where near enough energy to create a black hole. Like Bookman said, you need the death of a star. Thing is, you need the biggest, densest stars out there to make them. Not even most stars turn into them.

Re: the experiment?
People really need to learn to think for themselves and stop believing everything they hear.
Seriously, these "End of the world" theories are getting even more ridiculous.

Re: the experiment?
I saw them talking on TV about this.
But now that it's the 11th, guess it proves it wasn't lethal, ehh? I wonder what results they achieved, though...
